PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fan motor capable of being manufactured at lower cost. SOLUTION: The fan motor 1 is provided with a fan formed body 13 rotating around a shaft 15, a bearing 7 supporting the shaft 15 of the fan formed body 13, a sleeve 5 supporting the bearing 7, a cap 8 fixing the bearing 7 on the sleeve 5. A press-in deformation part 23 formed by pressing is provided on a cap 8, and the cap 8 is enabled to be pressed in an inside of the sleeve 5. Consequently, the fan motor 1 can be manufactured at lower cost by using the press cap 8 for the fan motor 1 more than a case using a machined cap. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
