An apparatus of capturing flying insect is provided to accurately grasp capturing harmful insect amount by scanning birdlime by utilizing a contact image sensor. An apparatus of capturing flying insect using an image sensor comprises: a harmful insect capturing unit(120) including a catch part(104) which catches flying pest; and an image sensing unit(140) which is closely positioned in the catch part, scans the catch part, and outputs the image signal. On the catch part, an adhesive is applied.
