<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device which can provide an object image with little deterioration according to the spatial frequency characteristic of the object. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging device comprises an imaging portion for imaging the object by an optical system, a distance specifying portion for specifying a distance to the object, a frequency domain specifying portion for specifying a spatial frequency domain which the object has, an imaging condition determining portion which determines such imaging conditions that the magnitude of an optical transfer function of the optical system may be larger than a predetermined magnitude in the spacial frequency domain specified by the frequency domain specifying portion with respect to the light from the object at the distance specified by the distance specifying portion, and an imaging controlling portion which makes the imaging portion image the object under the imaging conditions determined by the imaging condition determining portion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
