<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device that properly displays a OSD device name on an OSD menu according to user's input switching operation. <P>SOLUTION: A sync device 40 comprises: an HDMI input terminal 41 connecting a plurality of external devices (a repeater device 30, a first source device 10, a second source device 20) hierarchically; an OSD control section 47 displaying the OSD menu on a screen of the sync device 40; a CEC I/F 43 receiving a CEC command indicating that an external device is designated as an input path from any external device of the plurality of external devices. When the CEC I/F 43 receives a CEC command, the OSD control section 47 change an external device name displayed on the OSD menu into an external device name designated by the CEC command. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
