PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable route search, taking into consideration the time for stopping at traffic lights. SOLUTION: The navigation device calculating the cost for all over the route from present position to the destination, and searching the route, the cost of which is minimum is provided with an objective spot setting means (1) for setting the objective spot; a cost setting means (4c) for setting the cost to the traffic lights on the route; and a route search means (4d) for searching the route to the set destination.
