PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device enabling a user to readily grasp a guidance route. SOLUTION: A control part 102 in a body 10 of the navigation device 100 acquires each of a formal name and another name of two continuous roads on the guide route, and determined whether each formal name of the two roads is the same. When they are the same, the control part 102 acquires each of another name of the two roads; and further, when each of another name of the two roads is different, a processing is performed that continuously displays each of another name of the two roads as an itinerary of the guide route on a display 70.
