PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ferritic stainless steel for members of exhaust gas flow passage which has, without addition of expensive Mo as an alloy component, heat resistance equal to that of steel to which Nb and Mo are combinedly added and also has excellent formability, low-temperature toughness and weldability. SOLUTION: The ferritic stainless steel for conduit members for emission of automotive exhaust gas has a composition consisting of, by mass,≤0.03% C,≤1.0% Si,≤1.5% Mn,≤0.6% Ni, 10 to 20% Cr,≤0.50% Nb, 0.05 to 0.30% Ti, 0.8 to 2.0% Cu,≤0.03% Al, 0.03 to 0.20% V,≤0.03% N and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities and satisfying Nb≥8(C+N).
