PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof which makes rainwater smoothly flow downstream in a split position of a roof face material, even if the roof face material is split in a direction along a drainage slope. SOLUTION: A step, which is lowered to the downstream side in a position of an inside purlin 11, is formed between downstream and upstream roof face bodies 10B and 10A of a roof face body 10 constituting a roof body 4. Thus, the step allows the rainwater on the upstream roof face body 10A to easily flow to the side of the downstream roof face body 10B. Particularly, since a locking piece of the inside purlin 11, which locks a downstream edge of an upstream panel 14A of the upstream roof face body 10A, is formed like a plate, the dimension of upward protrusion from the upstream panel 14A can be minimized, and the stagnation of water on the top surface of the upstream panel 14A can be prevented. Consequently, the rainwater etc. flowing on the upstream roof face body 10A can flow smoothly downstream, and dust etc. can be prevented from adhering to the panel 14, so that the beauty of the roof can be maintained.
