PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gravestone of a stacked structure in which the stones such as a pole stone, an upper base, and an intermediate base are stacked which is improved in earthquake resistance by fitting and fixing an upper stone to fitting recesses formed in a lower stone and for which a measure for rainwater is taken. SOLUTION: The fitting recesses 32-62 with predetermined depths are formed in the loading surface of the stone positioned on the lower side, and water drain holes 34-66 extending from the loading surface to the bottom surface of the stone are drilled at the center of the fitting recesses. Since the stacked stone is surely fitted and fixed to the stone on the lower side by forming the fitting recesses with predetermined depths in the loading surface of the stone, a firm stacked structural body can be provided. Therefore, even if a strong earthquake occurs, the entire part of the grave stone is not collapsed. Since the water drain holes are drilled, water can be quickly discharged even if rainwater intrudes into the fitting recesses.
