PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition forming an adhesive layer excellent in tack, the adhesion to a substrate, heat resistance, moist heat resistance and transparency, and a laminate produced using the pressure-sensitive adhesive composition. SOLUTION: The polyester resin (D) having a glass transition temperature of -80 to 0°C and bearing a secondary hydroxy group is prepared by the reaction of a dibasic acid component (A) comprising a dibasic acid component (a1) having an aromatic ring structure and/or an alicyclic structure, a diol (B) comprising a diol (b1) bearing an alkyl group in its side chain and a compound (C) bearing two cyclic ether groups in the molecule. The pressure-sensitive adhesive composition comprises the polyester resin (D) and a reactive compound (E). The laminate comprises a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer formed of the pressure-sensitive adhesive composition and, laminated thereon, an optical member. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
