PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost by eliminating the need for fastening parts such as screws, that is, fastening work of separate components in a conventional vehicular outside mirror device. SOLUTION: A bearing portion 40 of a plate 16 is fitted to a fitted portion 44 of a gear case 11 non-movably in the direction of crossing a shaft 10. An abutting portion 45 of the gear case 11 is made to abut on an abutting portion 41 of the plate 16 in the direction of the shaft 10. In the state that a locked recessed portion 46 of the gear case 11 abuts on a locking pawl 43 of an elastic wall 42 of the plate 16 and the abutting portion 45 of the gear case 11 abuts on the abutting portion 41 of the plate 16, the gear case 11 is elastically locked to the plate 16 in the direction of the shaft 10. As a result, the need for fastened components such as screws, namely, separate components and the need for fastening work for the fastening components such as the screws are eliminated, and cost is reduced, accordingly.
