PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an article capable of preventing bubbles from remaining therein and moreover preventing mal-ejection caused by sedimentation of particles in a dispersion. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing an article comprises the step S2 of injecting a dispersion medium into the inner flow path and a liquid chamber of a liquid droplet ejection head for ejecting a liquid having been injected via the inner flow path into the inner flow path itself and the liquid chamber communicating with it, in a form of liquid droplets, the step S5 of injecting a particle-containing dispersion into the inner flow path and the liquid chamber of the liquid droplet ejection head filled with the dispersion medium to replace the same with the dispersion, and the step S6 of applying the liquid droplets onto an object to be coated using the liquid droplet ejection head filled with the dispersion.
