An optical module using a pentaprism is provided to increase productivity and light quality by using a pentaprism and simplifying a tilt control process. An optical module using a pentaprism includes laser light source(110G,110B,110R), pentaprisms(210a,210b,210c,210d) changing the pathway of the light radiated from the laser light source, a light modulator(120) modulating the light of which route is changed according to the video signal, a projection unit projecting the modulated light, and the pentaprism change the pathway of the light radiated from the laser light source to 90 degrees.
