A rotating tub body and drum type washing machine having the same is provided to deform a concave-convex and a lifter installation part uniformly, and accordingly manufacture a rotating tub into more cylindrical shape. A rotating tub body is formed like a cylindrical shape by rolling machining having a specific length and width. A lifer(33) is separated from each other in the inner circumference. A number of lifter installation part(30b) onto which the lifter is installed and a number of concave-convexes(30a) is formed alternately. A rolling auxiliary part(30f) reinforcing the stiffness of the lifter installation part is formed. A frame part(30c) onto which a cover enclosing both sides of a rotating tub body on both sides of a board sheet. The rolling auxiliary part is formed on both sides of the lifter installation part of the frame part.
