<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily provide a positive electrode of an electrical double layer capacitor of high electrostatic capacitance and high energy density. <P>SOLUTION: The electrical double layer capacitor comprises (i) positive electrode, (ii) negative electrode containing such active material as can reversibly occlude and release lithium ion, and (iii) electrolyte consisting of aprotic organic solvent containing lithium salt supporting electrolyte. The positive electrode contains collector and electrode active material, using conductive polyaniline dispersed in such state as doped in nonpolar organic solvent, or conductive polyaniline/porous carbon complex obtained by complexing its derivative with porous carbon material as active material, as well as electric conduction auxiliary agent and binding agent as required. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
