METHOD OF PLANNING JOB IN MACHINE ENVIRONMENT, AND SYSTEM FOR PERFORMING OFFLINE AND ONLINE JOB PLANNING FOR MACHINE JOB

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method that facilitate quickly locating a job plan for executing a received job as well as performing additional search for an optimal quality plan within predefined time bounds.

SOLUTION: The method comprises: receiving a job to be planned; analyzing a set of precomputed plans to identify a first plan that is feasible; scheduling the first plan as a default plan; setting a maximum planning time period to identify a second plan; identifying the second plan if available; and determining whether the second plan is better than the first plan.
