PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the time required for maintenance work when occurrence of a failure of an information processor, and reduce the maintenance cost of the information processor.

SOLUTION: The information processor comprises a failure definition information storage part 20 preliminarily storing failure definition information Da obtained by associating failure information for each failure of the information processor 10 with identification information showing whether the failure is resolvable by a user who is using the information processor 10 or not; an occurring failure information generation part 30 generating information for a failure which occurred as occurring failure information dz; a determination part 33 determining whether the occurring failure is the failure resolvable by the user or not based on the failure definition information Da and the occurring failure information dz; and a report part 23 reporting, when the failure is determined to be resolvable by the user, that effect to the user.
