DATA REGISTRATION METHOD, DATA REGISTRATION PROGRAM, AND RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently register video data in a server without integrating plug-in generated for every non-linear compilation software.

SOLUTION: A video data write-in monitoring part detects the presence (presence of output of file export) of the write-in of a file in a directory as the object of monitoring. Then, when the write-in of the file in the directory as the object of monitoring is detected by a video data write-in monitoring part, a video data registration part starts the monitoring of a file newly added to the directory by a system call, and detects the write-in of the file in the compiled video data based on whether monitoring times-up. Then, when confirming that the write-in of the file in the video data ends, the video data registration part executes transfer processing for registering the file in a stream server.
