<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly perform dimming of an array of pixels. <P>SOLUTION: A system of dimming the array 1310 of a pixel 1300 comprises a plurality of pulse-width modulation (PWM) drivers 1375 and global PWM drivers 1385. Each PWM driver 1375 is coupled to each of pixels in one row among a plurality of rows and supplies current to one row of the plurality of rows with the same time width at a different timing in one cycle. A global PWM driver is coupled to each of the plurality of pixels in each of the plurality of rows and, in a blanking period of one cycle (where no pixel is programmed), supplies current to each among the plurality of pixels in each among the plurality of rows.
