<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating device which can avoid a danger of a fire or the like and can maintain cooking in a safe range. <P>SOLUTION: The heating device is provide with a human body detection sensor 8 on a main body 1 of the heating device and a heating mode in which a man exists near the main body 1 and a heating mode in which no one exists can be selected. Thereby, non-safety such as empty heating at the time of absence can be avoided and failure of cooking can be made minimum as the heating power is maintained while heating is made with a small power.
