<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for an inkjet recording head which can suppress the occurrence of poor sealing. <P>SOLUTION: A recording element board 1 is prepared which has an energy generating means, two edges which face each other, and an electrode 2 which is arranged along an edge pinched by the two edges. An electric wiring tape 10 having edges which are confronted to each other along the two confronted edges of the recording element board 1 and the edge pinched by the two edges is prepared. An electric connecting section 12a is formed at least at one edge of the two edges which connect the electrode 2 and wiring, and face each other. A gap L<SB>1</SB>is formed larger than a gap L<SB>2</SB>, and the gap L<SB>1</SB>and the gap L<SB>2</SB>are located at relative positions across the electric connecting section.
