PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base material carrying system using an easy method for stable discharge fixing treatment while eliminating inconveniences which may occur in an initial carrying stage. SOLUTION: The base material carrying system comprises a base material carrying means for carrying a base material to an ink fixing means which uses dielectric barrier discharge approximate to at least atmospheric pressure for fixing ink on the base material to the bas material.
