PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a light guide body capable of reducing the manufacturing cost of the light guide body. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of the light guide body, a molding die 2 is fabricated by holding a plurality of processing pins 11 by a processing pin embedding jig 12 with the tip of the pins 11 arranged in a row on the same plane, and a light guide body material 101A is fixed by a light guide fixing jig 3 with the light guide body material 101A in bent state. Thereafter, the tips of the processing pins 11 heated are pressed on the light guide body material 101A, and the recesses 104<SB>n</SB>having reflecting surfaces 105<SB>n</SB>are molded and a linear light guide body 101 is manufactured.
