MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR CONDUCTIVE ROLLER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably manufacture a conductive roller with little resistance unevenness regarding the conductive roller used for electrophotography.

SOLUTION: A manufacturing method for the conductive roller includes: (1) a process to obtain an extrusion molded article with periphery surface of a metal core covered by a raw material rubber composition by coextruding the conductive raw material rubber composition and the metal core by using a cross head; and (2) a process of vulcanizing the raw material rubber by heating the extrusion molded article. A preliminary heating process is included between the process (1) and the process (2), for heating the extrusion molded article at a temperature lower than the heating temperature for the extrusion molded article in the process (2).
