COMPUTER/SYSTEM FOR MANAGING ORDERING OF PARTS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer system for supporting a user to quickly specify parts necessary for a new product and its quantity in ordering processing when the parts to be commonly used for the new product are adopted.

SOLUTION: This computer system for managing the ordering of parts according to a production plan is configured to achieve a function of: developing a plurality of parts necessary for the production of a model and the required quantity of parts according to the model of a product; when an instruction is input to produce a second model instead of a first model whose parts have been ordered, comparing the parts used for the first model and the second model with their required quantity; and calculating a difference between the required quantity necessary for producing the second model and the required quantity necessary for producing the first model; and a function of displaying the parts necessary for froducing the second model and their required quantity in association with the difference on a display screen.
