<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform detoxifying processing at an original generation point of a hazardous waste by efficiently utilizing generated heat energy by multi-phase multiple AC plasma discharge. <P>SOLUTION: With respect to a plasma furnace capable of performing a continuous operation for intensively heating a molten pool by combining two plasma discharge blocks one of which is a multi-phase plasma-jet flow and the other is a conventional plane plasma flow area, in a state of joining both plasmas to melt the waste to be melted by the molten pool disposed on a bottom portion of the furnace, incidental facilities are also loaded on a transporting vehicle with the furnace, so that the hazardous waste can be detoxified by a high temperature of plasma heat at the original generation point of the hazardous waste.
