PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a command transmitter capable of transmitting a command to control a menu picture of a portable player to the portable player without providing a key with little usage frequency for operating the menu picture of the portable player. SOLUTION: An amplifier 11 synchronizes with the portable player 13 in a mode. The amplifier 11 transmits a skip command to the portable player 13 when a skip key is pressed down in a normal mode, and transmits a cursor command to the portable player 13 when the skip key is pressed down in a menu mode.
