PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pseudo window which displays the outdoor landscapes with reality, and positively reproduces variation of sound generated by opening/closing a pseudo window door, to thereby positively give a sense of realism to a person in a room, and to provide a wall having the pseudo window. SOLUTION: The pseudo window A provides a pseudo experience to an experiencing person as if he or she views actual outdoor landscapes from the window when the experiencing person in the room C views an outdoor landscape image displayed on an image display unit 4 via an opening section 1a of a pseudo window frame 1 arranged in the wall B. The pseudo window is formed of the pseudo window door 2 for opening/closing the opening section 1a of the pseudo window frame 1, and a sound generating device 6 for generating pseudo outdoor sound depending on the outdoor landscape image. The pseudo window can change the volume and tone color of sound transmitted from the sound generating device 6 to the interior of the room C depending on opening/closing operation of the pseudo window door 2, in a manner reproducing the volume and the tone color of the sound transmitted from the outdoors to the interior of the room, that is variable depending on difference in sound transmission loss depending on actual opening/closing operation of the window door.
