PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desk system, in which top plates can be increased/decreased without requiring large-scaled dismantling work or the like, or need of changing intermediate legs with end legs, while the legs are composed in the most rational way possible in their number and kinds. SOLUTION: In composing a large desk by joining the top plates 1 with each other, adjoining top plates 1 and 1 are supported by halves 2a of a common intermediate leg 2 of a narrow grounding width.
