An I/O control system has a first and a second storage region and performs input/output by using a part or whole of the first storage region as a cache. The I/O control system includes: a cache managing unit (110) which stores data inputted and outputted into/from the second storage region into a third storage region used as a cache of the first storage region; an I/O identifier storage unit (111) which correlates a data region as a region of data stored in the third storage region with information associated with input and output and stores the information; a light back unit (120) which generates a data output request from the data region of the third storage region to the second storage region; and I/O identification unit (100) which identifies the information associated with input and output which has been correlated with the data region of the data as an object of an output request generated by referencing the I/O identifier storage unit.
