A control method of a laundry machine for water-supplying to a steam generator therein and a laundry machine is provided to control the water supply in case of supplying water into a steam generator using a pump. A control method of a laundry machine for water-supplying to a steam generator therein and a laundry machine comprises a step of operating a pump in order to supply water into a steam generator(S5); a step of determining whether water level inside the steam generator coincides with the predetermined water level(S7); and a step of stopping the pump in case the water level reaches the predetermined water level(S9).
