A SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SHARING ANTENNA UNDER AN OPEN-LOOP MODE

A method and system for sharing antenna under an open-loop mode. The system includes space-time coding module, a first beam forming module connecting between the space-time coding module and a first antenna array, and a second beam forming module connecting between the space-time coding module and a second antenna array. The method comprises: space-time coding sending signal and obtaining coded signal; determining beam forming weight vectors according to corresponding directional vectors of the first and second antenna array, and weighting space-time coded signal with two determined beam forming weight vectors respectivly to form first directional beam and second directional beam; polarized modes of two antenna arrays being orthogonal and two antenna arrays respectivly sending the first directional beam and the second directional beam. Therefore future antenna system will be evolved smoothly and large-scale rebuilding can be avoided during the evolvement.
