PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible printed circuit board which does not upsize due to folding and reduces board area loss due to the folding. SOLUTION: The flexible printed circuit board has first and second long-sized circuit board portions 2 and 3 disposed in parallel at an interval, and a coupling circuit board portion 4 connecting one-end sides of the mutually adjacent first and second long-sided circuit board portions 2 and 3, and is fabricated by folding back parts of both the long-sized circuit board portions 2 and 3 nearby the one-end sides along a direction N orthogonal to the length of the long-sized circuit board portion 4 such that the adjacent first and second long-sized circuit board portions 2 and 3 are linearly aligned with each other, and also folding back the connection circuit board portion 4 projecting along the width without projecting it from the adjacent first and second long-sized circuit board portions 2 and 3 having been linearly aligned with each other.
