PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector that allows a contact holding member to be extracted from a housing without breaking the housing. SOLUTION: The housing 5 is composed of a main housing 6 and a sub-housing 7 connected with the main housing 6. The main housing 6 is provided with each hole 63 having a contact-part storage part 65 and a contact insertion part 66. The sub-housing 7 is formed with each clip storage hole 71 that faces the contact-part storage part 65 and the contact insertion part 66 in a contact insertion/extraction direction when the sub-housing 7 is connected to the main housing 6. The inner diameter of the clip storage hole 71 is set larger than that of the contact-part storage part 65 and that of the contact insertion part. A clip 8 is stored in each clip storage hole 71.
