PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an electroluminescent element manufacturing an electroluminescent element by bonding together rolled members with electrodes and organic layers laminated on a substrate, capable of obtaining a bonded face without quality defects by applying laminates on the members after formation of the organic layers for preventing mixing in of dust and bonding them after peeling off the laminate. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of an EL element by bonding together a first substrate with first electrodes, layers constituting EL elements by being bonded with layers formed on the second electrodes after being bonded with the second substrate and a laminate film laminated on at least a first base material, and the second substrate with the second electrodes, and layers constituting EL elements after being bonded with the first substrate laminated on at least a second base material, the laminated film is peeled off after at least the first substrate is formed into branches and leaves, and the first substrate and the second substrate are bonded together with the electrodes set in opposition.
