PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recorder for a car, which writes and stores influences of vibration and shock acting on a car of a train to an HDD for information recording by a simple processor and processing procedures without needing an advanced technique. SOLUTION: The image recorder for the car equipped in the train composed of the plurality of cars traveling on a track 36 is equipped with: a semiconductor memory 42; a hard disk drive 43; a traveling environment data storing part 44; an external control data inputting part 46; and a control part 45, wherein the control part 45 controls a write instruction of information data to the semiconductor memory 42 and information write and record to and in the hard disk drive 43 on the basis of data signals of a vibration sensor 48, the traveling environment data storing part 44 and the external control data inputting part 46, and is arranged in the first car 38 of the train or a subsequent car 39 other than the last car.
