PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent commodities from being replenished more than necessary in a commodity storage rack. SOLUTION: A commodity storage device of a vending machine is provided with a first-in first-out commodity storage rack 20 which is housed in a storage of a main body cabinet 1, has commodity storage passages storing many commodities by aligning in one row in an anteroposterior direction and having a commodity carrying out port at one end. Thin-plate-shaped protruded members (flanges 2132) are disposed at commodity replenishment ends of the passages of the rack 20 in an erected manner. In this configuration, even when gaps which are not enough to completely store the commodities on front sides (commodity replenishment sides) of the passages occur, commodities cannot be loaded in the gaps due to the existence of the members (flanges 2132).
