PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock which is suitable for locking a storage container etc., and which can be automatically lock without use of a key. SOLUTION: A locking portion X for attaching/detaching a latch 2 to/from a bearer 3 is mounted in a frame box 1 with the built-in latch 2 so that a knob 4 can be reversibly moved in the derricking manner around a mounting portion. The knob 4 is rotatively operated in a raised state so that the latch 2 can be attached to/detached from the retainer 3. The locking portion X and a key portion Y are constituted as follows: a hook 5 provided on the side of bringing down the knob 4 is automatically engaged with the latch 14 of the lock of the key portion Y so as to fix and lock the knob 4, when the knob 4 is brought down in a state in which the latch 2 is locked to the retainer 3. The latch 14 is disengaged from the hook 5 by means of the key 6 of the key portion Y, so that the knob 4 can be unfixed and unlocked. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
