PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber product-treating agent composition reducing wrinkles caused by drying machines while imparting comfortable touch feeling (softness) to clothes in washing using a heating type drying machine and excellent in shape-retaining effect and shrink proofness. SOLUTION: The fiber product-treating agent composition contains (A) a water-soluble and/or water-dispersible nonionic polysaccharide in which gelation temperature is 30 to 120°C, (B) a silicone compound, and (C) a cationic surfactant. A method for treating a fiber product includes heating treatment of a fiber product treated with the fiber product-treating agent composition by the heating type drying machine.
