PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem on a conventional vehicular outside mirror device that the size of a storage mechanism is increased. SOLUTION: A clutch mechanism 15 for an electrically-operated storage unit 3 consists of a clutch gear 32, and a clutch holder 35. The clutch gear 32 and the clutch holder 35 are kept in a mutually connected condition by energizing force and in a mutually disconnected condition when force (outer force) of a predetermined value or greater operates on a mirror assembly 2. A guide hole portion 43 and a guide protruded portion 42 are provided inside of the outer peripheral face of the clutch gear 32 and inside of the outer peripheral face of the clutch holder 35, respectively. As a result, the outside shape of the clutch gear 32 is smaller than the outside shape of a conventional gear plate, and so the size of the electrically-operated storage unit 3 is reduced.
