PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable prize winning apparatus in which an assembly process is simplified and is made compact by installing a support member for supporting an opening/closing member with a rotation shaft to a base plate and freely rotatably providing the opening/closing member, and a game machine using the same apparatus. SOLUTION: A variable prize winning apparatus in which an opening/closing member 16 is provided for the rotation shaft 15 so that it can freely open/close. The rotation shaft 15 has a head part 15a and a shaft part 15b, and is provided with an engaging means 15c at a tip of the shaft part 15b. A stop hole 19 through which the rotation shaft 15 is inserted and is prevented from coming off is formed to the base plate 13. A shaft hole 26 for going through the rotation shaft 15 is formed on the opening/closing member 16. A support member 14 is provided with an engaging part 30 for engaging the engaging means 15c of the rotation shaft 15. The rotation shaft 15 is inserted through the stop hole 19 from back of the base plate 13 and is inserted through the shaft hole 26 of the opening/closing member 16, and the engaging means 15c is engaged with the engaging part 30 of the support member 14, so that the support member 14 is attached to the base plate 13 and the opening/closing member 16 is freely rotatably pivoted.
