Provided is an intraocular lens inserting tool, which can fold an intraocular lens reliably in a predetermined shape without giving a local stress to the intraocular lens. The intraocular lens inserting tool (2) comprises a lens fitting unit (15) for fitting an intraocular lens (4), a slider (7) for pushing the intraocular lens (4), a plunger (8) for further pushing the intraocular lens (4) pushed by the slider (7), a conversion unit (31) for deforming the intraocular lens (4) pushed by the slider and the plunger, and a nozzle unit (32) for releasing the deformed intraocular lens (4). The intraocular lens inserting tool (2) is characterized in that said slider (7) includes a lens protruding unit (47) having a larger contact area than that of the plunger (8), and a lens holding unit (52) for holding one face of the optical unit (4b) of the intraocular lens (4) in one direction, and in that said conversion unit (31) deforms such a portion of the outer edge of the intraocular lens (4) as is parallel to the lens advancing direction, in the other direction backward of the one direction.
