<p>A stirring device having good stirring performance and capable of performing material mixing in a reduced time. The stirring device has a closed-bottomed circular tube-shaped stirring tank, a rotating shaft coaxially or substantially coaxially provided in the stirring tank, and a flat plate -like bottom blade provided to continue to the rotating shaft so as to extend in the radial and vertical directions of the stirring tank and having a lower end edge extending along a tank bottom wall surface. An opening is formed in the bottom blade so as to interconnect one face side and the other face side of the bottom blade. The ratio (h/d) between the height h of the bottom blade and the diameter d of the bottom blade is set to satisfy 0.4 = h/d, and the ratio of the area of the opening to the projection area, when viewed from the rotation direction of the bottom blade, is set in the range of 10% to 60%.</p> |
