<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce work related to component replacement by a user or a service person, and to prevent adjustment from being omitted after the component replacement, in an image forming device. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device 100 has an IC tag 80 recorded with replacing component information including regulation necessity information and regulation item information in the attached replacing component; the replacing component information recorded in the IC tag 80 is read by an information reading part 60, by executing component replacing mode processing, when a component replacing mode is set; and the read replacing component information is stored in a replacing component information file 141 of a storage part 14. Adjustment control processing is executed when an electric power source is fed; an item required to be adjusted is determined based on the replacing component information stored in the replacing component information file 141; and the adjustment is executed.
