<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving force transmission device capable of achieving improvement of assembly workability of a drive transmission member, and an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: An assembly 60 attached to a rear frame 50 includes a bracket 61, a drive motor 62 having a drive gear 62a on an output shaft, and rotating members 70Y, 70M, 70C and 70K coupled with a developing device and delivering motive force of the drive motor 62 to the developing device. A protective member 51 that is resin molding is attached to attaching holes 50a and 50b of the rear frame 50. The protective member 51 guides intermediate members 74Y, 74M, 74C and 74K when assembling the rotating members 70Y, 70M, 70C and 70K.
