<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a color filter capable of forming a colored layer of high quality free from white image fogging or the like even when a substrate for color filter formation is temporarily let alone during the production of a color filter. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing a color filter includes: a plasma treatment step where a substrate for color filter formation comprising a transparent substrate composed of an inorganic material and a partition made of resin formed on the transparent substrate so as to be a pattern shape is irradiated with plasma with a fluorine compound as an introduction gas; a simple water washing step where the substrate for color filter formation subjected to the plasma irradiation is water-washed; and a colored layer formation step where a region for colored layer formation divided by the partition made of resin is coated with a coating liquid for colored layer formation by an ink jet process, to form a colored layer; wherein between the simple water washing step and the colored layer formation step, a storage step is provided to store the substrate for color filter formation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
