<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the power source of a television receiver is turned on without noticing a user, and that the power source is left on for a long period of time, and that any unnecessary power is consumed when the user unintentionally claps his or her hands three times when the power-on of a television receiver is recognized according as the user claps his or her hands three times. <P>SOLUTION: When a television receiver is put in a power-off state (state that the power source of any device other than the device concerning the recognition of this invention is off), and a user unintentionally claps his or her hands three times due to any factor near the television receiver in an ON-OFF mode, three time handclap is recognized at a time t1 as shown by (G), and the television receiver is put in a power-on state as shown by (B) as a result. Confirmation display shown by (A) is executed the lapse of a fixed time ta1 after the time t1 when the power source is turned on. When the confirmation work is not executed by the handclap recognition operation and the other operations in the confirmation display period tb1, it is determined that the probability of erroneous recognition is high, and the power source is forcedly turned off as shown by (C) at a time t3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
