<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize the operation of an electronic device in performing processing and display of video contents while reducing dependency on software processing. <P>SOLUTION: The mobile electronic device 10 displays the received video contents in an LDC panel 450 by a display driver integrated circuit 440. The device 10 includes a radio interface 410 to receive a brightness adjustment identifier showing the optimum brightness adjustment level upon displaying the video contents. The display driver integrated circuit 440 adjusts the brightness value upon displaying the video contents so that the video contents may be displayed in accordance with the brightness adjustment level shown by the brightness adjustment identifier and received through the radio interface 410, then, the operation of the electronic device upon performing the processing and display of the video contents can be optimized while reducing the dependency on the software processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
