<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is impossible to perform the selection and determination of PDL (page description language) matched with a use environment such that print data are analyzed according to a use environment, the optimal PDL is selected, and printing is continued in the PDL after the selection in an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming apparatus is configured to select the optimal PDL by analyzing print data in a use environment, to record the result in a counter, and to determine the PDL which has been selected as the optimal PDL the most frequently as the PDL for printing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
