PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact conveying device having a small number of components which is capable of easily controlling the posture of articles to be conveyed and discharging articles in defective posture with a simple structure. SOLUTION: The conveying device 1 comprises a first conveying unit 10 formed of a conveying groove for aligning a plurality of fed articles in one row in an inverted condition by vibration and conveying them, and a slit 12c formed along the conveying direction of the conveying groove, and having a set of conveying arms 12d for supporting a lower supporting part of each article and conveying it, and a second conveying unit 20 having a set of conveying rails 21 parallel to each other which are arranged above an end of the conveying arm with a predetermined space and adjacent along the article conveying direction of the first conveying unit to support an upper supporting part of each article and convey it. Each article in the inverted condition is erected by the conveying arms, each article conveyed in the erected state is transferred from the conveying arm to the conveying rail, or the articles overlapping in a nested condition and conveyed in the inverted condition by the first conveying unit are discharged between the conveying arms and the conveying rails.
